Pyropaint

High Gloss

Paint system providing attractive finishes for heating and electrical equipment
(such as toasters and other kitchen 
equipment) that are regularly exposed to temperatures up to 300°C.

  • Short stoving cycle.
  • Excellent scratch resistance.
  • Low thermoplasticity.
  • Good colour stability.
  • Excellent gloss retention.
  • Chemical resistance.
  • Good adhesion and mechanical properties
    on degreased steel and aluminium.

Colours: other colours available on request (volume dependent) 3638 Rouge Brilliant, 1550 Sand Beige, 7148 Champagne, 9102 Pearl White, 9105 Noir Brilliant
Appearance when dry High gloss (satin and mat appearance available on request)
Packaging 5KG / 20 KG
Max operating temperature 200-300°C, depending on formulation and colour
Solid matter content (by weight) depending on formulation 50 – 75%
Surface preparation

Good results can be obtained with thorough degreasing, cleaning and mechanical removal of all traces of rust but
surface blasting in accordance with SA 2 ½ is advised

Application Apply using a low pressure conventional spray gun (with or without electrostatic spraying equipment)
Application conditions +5°C and surface temperature at 3°C above dew point
Theoretical coverage (depending on formulation) 10-20 m²/L for dry film thickness of 25 μm
Recommended film thickness 15 – 25 μm (higher film thickness may result in boiling defects and loss of adhesion after heating)
Recommended drying conditions Oven drying: Minimum 60 minutes at 200°C
Shelf Life / Storage Conditions
( +5C°< T <35°)
6 months in original unopened packaging, protected from moisture, extreme cold and excessive heat
